The Broadway Gentle Dental is conveniently located on E. Broadway Boulevard at the intersection with N. Beverly Avenue, close to the Pei Wei Asian Kitchen Restaurant.
We offer same-day treatment to accommodate your busy schedule, with oral surgery and hygienist appointments available on Saturdays. We accept most dental insurance plans, and our friendly staff will help you choose a payment plan for procedures not covered by insurance. For uninsured patients, we offer the Gentle Dental Smile Plan, which provides reduced fees for almost all dental procedures.
Our compassionate, gentle staff provide family dentistry and specialized care to patients of all ages, including infants and children. The Gentle Dental Smile Plan is perfect if you don’t have dental insurance and offers significant savings. The plan has no waiting period, involves no paperwork, and covers all pre-existing conditions.
You can enroll as an individual, couple or family and receive significant discounts on preventative services including exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and x-rays, as well as a host of other dental services. All other services including specialty care such as extractions, root canals, and orthodontics are discounted 20% from our list prices.
The Smile Plan is effective immediately and there are no claim forms to fill out and no maximums. Seniors 62 and older receive additional discounts on enrollment fees and parents can keep children on their family plan until age 26.

After graduating from Brigham Young Universities Marriott School of Management, he was awarded his dental degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry.
Away from the office, Dr Osmun is a full-time father. Managing his children’s increasingly varied extra-curricular activities keeps him on his toes. He enjoys seeing his children develop and have experiences. His favorite activity is seeing his children perform on their stringed instruments.

After earing her degree in Biology from the University of San Diego, Dr. Poidmore wa s awareded her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry. She received her Certificate of Periodontology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
She is a member of many organizations including the American Board of Periodontology, the American Association of Periodontists, the Arizona Association of Periodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association and the Southern Arizona Dental Society.
When Dr. Poidmore spends time away from the office, she enjoys reading, running, golfing, playing tennis and spending time with her husband and two beautiful children.

After graduating from Arizona State University, Dr. Malakpour received his Dental Degree and his Endodontics training from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Dr. Malakpour and his wife Kiana have a Pomeranian puppy named Snowy. He is both devoted to his family and his practice. Continuing with his childhood interest in tennis, he has an active participation in local tennis clubs.

Dr. Yong says, “The best part of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is the ability to change people’s lives. From restoring smiles with dental implants to saving faces through reconstruction it’s a very rewarding profession.” As a highly trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Yong specializes in Trauma, Orthognathic Surgery, Pathology, Bone Grafting, Dentoalveolar Surgery, Dental Implants, and Outpatient Anesthesia.
Dr. Yong is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Yong completed a General Practice Residency at the Nassau University Medical Center. After finishing his postgraduate dental training he went on to complete his Oral Surgery training in with the University of California San Francisco, Community Health Centers in Fresno, CA.
In an effort to keep up with technology and great advances in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Yong regularly attends numerous training and educational seminars.
