The Brea Gentle Dental is conveniently located in the Brea Marketplace Shopping Center on E. Birch Street, across from the Brea Mall and just off the Orange Freeway.
We offer flexible hours for your convenience, including early morning and early evening appointments as well as one Saturday per month. We accept most insurance plans. For those without dental insurance, we offer our Dedicated Dental Plan that provides low-cost preventive and diagnostic care, as well as discounts of 20 percent or more on most dental treatments. We also have payment plans available as needed.

About Me
Dr. Kim was first drawn to dentistry for its rare combination of science and hands-on work. As an Oral Surgeon, he appreciates his role in providing pain relief to his patients through surgical procedures. He applies a caring, detail-oriented approach to each patient’s case, taking time to solve their dental issues effectively.
After graduating from the University of California-Irvine, Dr. Kim received his D.D.S. from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He continued his studies receiving his M.D. and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery certificate from the University of California-Los Angeles. Dr. Kim is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society. And he speaks Korean, also.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kim enjoys travel, camping hiking and biking.

Lisa is a Certified Dental Hygienist (RDH) and a Certified Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist (EPDH). She earned her A.S. in Dental Hygiene from Lane Community College.
Away from the office Lisa enjoys yoga, hiking, painting and spending time with her family.

I love transforming smiles and helping patients gain the confidence to succeed in their own goals.” For Dr. Patel the best part of her profession is getting to know diverse individuals and seeing the evolution and growth of patients through their orthodontic treatment.
After graduating from the University of Southern California, Dr. Patel received her Dental Degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. She completed her Orthodontic Certificate from the Roseman University of Health Sciences. About Me
Dr. Stephen Kallaos’ goal is to provide a pleasant periodontic evaluation and an informative discussion of the options for attaining optimum oral health. He offers multiple levels of sedation to make treatment for his patients as comfortable as possible. He is also very active with his peers to stay on top of the latest technology and procedures available. His membership to industry associations include the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association, and the California Society of Periodontists, to name a few.
After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from UCLA, Dr. Kallaos continued his studies as a Bruin, entering the UCLA School of Dentistry for his D.D.S. degree. He then focused his studies on Periodontics and earned his certificate in this specialty from the UC San Francisco School of Dentistry. He is Board-certified by the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Kallaos has been practicing Periodontics since 1998. Outside of the office, he enjoys bicycling, snow skiing, and Sudoku, and his favorite author is Dan Brown. He is married and has three children.
