The Palo Alto Gentle Dental is conveniently located in the small shopping center at the northeast corner of Middlefield Road and Channing Avenue. Our office is north of Title Loans Express.
We accept almost all dental insurance plans, and for those without dental coverage we offer a Dedicated Dental Plan, which reduces the cost of most dentistry services by 20 percent or more. With free and low-cost consultations and payment plans, there are options for every patient in need. In addition to our late evening hours on Mondays, we offer Saturday hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. by appointment to ensure you get the oral health care you need when you need it.

About Me
Dr. Gopal says, “Clinical excellence along with personal care is my number one priority! I love children and feel I get transformed into their world of fun, imagination and magic.” Dr. Gopal loves her profession because it gives her the opportunity to interact with so many people on a daily basis. She feels fortunate to have a career that allows her to improve her young patients’ health, confidence and self-esteem.
Dr. Gopal received her Dental Degree from the Annamalai University School of Dentistry. She was awarded her M.S. in Pediatric Dentistry from the UCSF School of Dentistry. She’s a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Pediatric Dentists and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. She also speaks Tamil, Hindi and Kannada.

ABOUT ME
Dr. Khaled is a Board Certified Periodontist & Implantologist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He has been practicing periodontics for the past 16 years with a unique distinction of having a double Master’s in Periodontics.
Born in India, Dr. Khaled started his professional journey by earning a Bachelor in Dental Surgery in 1994 and a Masters in Dental Surgery in Periodontics in 2005. An intense desire to learn to foster by the conducive opportunities brought him to the US, where he completed a postgraduate specialty training in Periodontics at Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, Indiana and he received a Certificate in Periodontics and Master of Dental Science (MSD) degree, with top honors.
Dr. Khaled worked as an Assistant professor teaching the Dental students in the Department of Periodontics and Implantology in School of Dentistry, University of Detroit Mercy, Michigan.
He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontics, Member of Academy of Osseointegration and a Member of the Western Society of Periodontology.

ABOUT ME
Dr. Deyhim studied Systems Physiology after transferring from community college to San Jose State University where she was awarded the Dean’s Scholar. She completed her dental school training at NYU College of Dentistry where she was honored the Omega Kappa Upsilon status three years in a row, was a member of NYU research honors program and received two scholarships during her training. In addition, she was given the dental student implant award upon graduation from NYU. She later completed her Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency at UCSF-Fresno where she was trained in the full scope of the specialty including oral and facial pathology and reconstruction of adult and pediatric patients.
Dr. Deyhim has also presented management of difficult airway in the office and hospital setting at the prestigious California American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Annual Meeting.
Dr. Deyhim says, “I would like every patient to feel comfortable and thoroughly informed of their specific treatment.” She also prides herself for providing a professional environment for the staff to flourish and for the patients to receive the best individualized care.
Away from the office she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and relaxing by the coast.
