The Placentia Gentle Dental is conveniently located on the northeast corner of North Rose Drive and Alta Vista Street in the Village Center of Rose shopping center, next to the UPS Store, and across the parking lot from Chase Bank.
We know scheduling dental appointments during the workweek can be difficult, so for your convenience we stay open late on Mondays and Tuesdays, open early on Thursdays and Fridays. We accept most forms of dental insurance and offer payment options, low-cost diagnostics, and a Dedicated Dental Plan with discounts of 20 percent or more on many preventative services and treatments.
Our General Dentist, Dr. Peddireddy places implants and works very closely with our Periodontist, Dr. Kallaos to perform implant-supported dentures.

About Me
Dr. Nelson Poliran Jr., D.D.S., M.S., is a compassionate General Dentist practicing at GD Placentia. Fluent in Tagalog, Dr. Poliran brings a diverse cultural perspective to his patient care.
Dr. Poliran’s educational journey began at the University of California, Riverside, where he majored in Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology, graduating in 2013. He continued his studies at the UCLA School of Dentistry, earning his D.D.S. in 2021.
A member of esteemed dental associations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and Orange County Dental Society, Dr. Poliran has garnered recognition for his commitment to patient care and excellence in clinical practice.
Dr. Poliran’s attraction to dentistry stems from his passion for patient care, community involvement, the artistry of the profession, and the tactile nature of working with his hands. His commitment to comprehensive care is reflected in the accolades he earned during his education.
What Dr. Poliran enjoys most about his profession is working directly with patients. His love for patient education and preventative care underscores his dedication to promoting overall oral health and wellness.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Poliran is an active individual who enjoys running, swimming, hiking, and engaging in board games. Interestingly, he played the cello before dental school as a hobby and harbors a passion for marine biology, revealing a diverse range of interests.

Dr. Patel says, “Patient care is my number one priority. I want patients to feel comfortable to ask questions and be involved in their treatment so we can achieve the best results possible. I love transforming smiles and helping patients gain the confidence to succeed in their own goals.” For Dr. Patel the best part of her profession is getting to know diverse individuals and seeing the evolution and growth of patients through their orthodontic treatment.
After graduating from the University of Southern California, Dr. Patel received her Dental Degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. She completed her Orthodontic Certificate from the Roseman University of Health Sciences. She’s a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Orange County Dental Association.

About Me
Dr. Stephen Kallaos’ goal is to provide a pleasant periodontic evaluation and an informative discussion of the options for attaining optimum oral health. He offers multiple levels of sedation to make treatment for his patients as comfortable as possible. He is also very active with his peers to stay on top of the latest technology and procedures available. His membership to industry associations include the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association, and the California Society of Periodontists, to name a few.
After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from UCLA, Dr. Kallaos continued his studies as a Bruin, entering the UCLA School of Dentistry for his D.D.S. degree. He then focused his studies on Periodontics and earned his certificate in this specialty from the UC San Francisco School of Dentistry. He is Board-certified by the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Kallaos has been practicing Periodontics since 1998. Outside of the office, he enjoys bicycling, snow skiing, and Sudoku, and his favorite author is Dan Brown. He is married and has three children.
