The Edmond Gentle Dental is conveniently located between West 5th Street and West 6th Street, just on the west side of South Broadway. Our office is north of Smith Medical Equipment. Gentle Dental Edmond is also centrally located between The University of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma Christian University.
Our office is open for appointments from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. We also offer same-day service and treatment for emergencies. Walk-ins welcome.

The Gentle Dental Smile Plan is perfect if you don’t have dental insurance and offers significant savings. The plan has no waiting period, involves no paperwork, and covers all pre-existing conditions.
You can enroll as an individual, couple or family and receive significant discounts on preventative services including exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and x-rays, as well as a host of other dental services. All other services including specialty care such as extractions, root canals, and orthodontics are discounted 20% from our list prices.
The Smile Plan is effective immediately and there are no claim forms to fill out and no maximums. Seniors 62 and older receive additional discounts on enrollment fees and parents can keep children on their family plan until age 26.

Dr. Rios enjoys working with the latest orthodontic techniques that can make orthodontic treatment gentler and sometimes even reduce the time needed. Dr. Rios understands how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits, and how she can make a difference in providing a relaxing and positive experience.
Dr. Rios is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She completed her Orthodontic Residency Program at New York City’s Montefiore Medical Center.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontics.
In her free time, Dr. Rios likes to stay fit by working out. She also enjoys road trips.

ABOUT ME
Dr. Vandenberg aims to create a welcoming and comforting environment by treating each of his patients like family.
Dr. Vandenberg attended the University of Calgary, Canada where he received his Master’s degree in Zoology. He came to Oklahoma in the fall of 1989 to pursue his degree in dentistry. He attended the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry on a four year scholarship and graduated with top honors in 1993.
He is one of the few recipients of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon membership award, a national dental honor society. After graduation, Dr. Vandenberg went back to Canada to do a one year residency at the University of Edmonton, Canada. He is a member of The International Dental Implant Association and is an expert in implant dentistry.
He fell in love with his dental school classmate, Dr. Thanh Dao, and they married in 1994.

He understands how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits, and how he can make a difference in providing a relaxing and positive experience.
After graduating from Oklahoma Christian College, Dr. Howell received his Dental Degree from the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry. To keep abreast of cutting edge technology, he’s a member of the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association and the American Orthodontic Society
Away from the office, Dr. Howell likes sports, reading, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren.
