I am committed to giving you my best care and to bringing a smile to your face!“ “I became an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, because there is no other profession like it. OMFS is unique because of its diverse scope. I can perform facial skeletal trauma surgery, orthognathic surgery, pathology and reconstructive surgery, TMJ surgery, and implant surgery. I also have extensive hospital based training to provide general anesthesia to patients. My ultimate goal is to provide comfortable and compassionate care all to my patients.”
After graduating from the University of British Columbia, Dr. Teh received his Dental Degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Certificate from Medstar Washington Hospital Center. He’s a member of the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association. He is the recipient of many awards and scholarships.
Dr. Teh says, “I enjoy spending free time with my wife and daughter. We like getting outdoors for hiking and being involved with our church’s activities.”

About Me
Growing up, Dr. Robert Saito spent a lot of time at a dental school, gaining early exposure to his future career. Now, as an Orthodontist, he is proud of his work, knowing that it provides healthy, functional bites and terrific smiles for his patients. An added bonus for him is seeing the improvement of his patients’ self-esteems throughout the course of their treatment.

Dr. Saito attended Lewis & Clark College as an undergraduate, where he studied Biology for his Bachelor’s degree. He stayed in Portland for graduate school, earning both his D.M.D. degree and certification in the specialty of Orthodontics from Oregon Health & Science University. He stays current with procedures and technologies in his field through active memberships to organizations such as the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association.

Outside of the office, Dr. Saito enjoys golfing and spending time with his family. He has been happily married to his wife, Linda, for over 30 years, with whom he has two children, Michael and Traci.

ABOUT ME
Dr. Luchtefeld says, “My goal is to do the best dentistry for each individual patient in a friendly, pain-free environment.” He feels that building a foundation of trust by treating his patients as special individuals is vital. He understands how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits, and how he can make a difference in providing a relaxing and positive experience.

After graduating from the University of Illinois, Dr. Luchtefeld received his Dental Degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Luchtefeld practiced for four years in Belleville, Illinois before moving to Portland.

Dr. Luchtefeld says, “My girlfriend and I have two cats: Riley and Meow Meow. We all enjoy living and exploring in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.”

ABOUT ME
Dr. Saito says, “The best part of my profession is being able to educate and help my patients to have the wonderful smile they have always wanted. It is amazing how much impact your teeth and smile have on an individual!”

“Orthodontics is a profession where we can make an impact on a persons life by improving their oral hygiene and allowing patients to smile with confidence. It is an art and I enjoy interacting and building relationships with patients.” Dr. Saito has a special interest technology, especially treating both adolescent and adult patients with Invisalign.

After graduating from Santa Clara University, Dr. Saito received her Dental Degree from the Oregon Health & Sciences University School of Dentistry. She completed her Orthodontics training at A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences. She’s a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Association. She also speaks Japanese.

Away from the office, Dr. Saito enjoys traveling, hiking, sports, cooking and photography.
