We are proud to serve the rural communities of Lane County. Our fully equipped mobile dental office will be scheduled at up to eight community sites each month. Current host sites include the communities of Florence, Mapleton, Cottage Grove, and McKenzie River. The communities of Dexter/Lowell, Creswell, Veneta, and Junction City will be added as Capitol Dental continues to find additional sites to host its mobile unit. The THDO team will include Cindy Fisher, Tiny House Coordinator, Driver, Dental Assistant, and Certified Community Health worker; Jo Eldredge, Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist; Dr. Aaron Berger, General Dentist; and, Dr. Leslee Huggins, Pediatric Dentist.
Oregon Health Plan members with Capitol Dental will have access to the Tiny House Dental Office at no out-of-pocket costs. The THDO will also be available to many insured and uninsured patients. Most insurance is accepted and uninsured patients can enroll in Gentle Dental’s own discount plan, the Gentle Dental Smile Plan.
Linda Mann, Director of Community Outreach for Capitol Dental commented, “The Tiny House Dental Office has been a dream of mine for over five years. It provides a two-chair, state-of-the-art dental clinic on wheels that allows us to serve the rural areas of Lane County, Oregon providing access to dental care for some of the most vulnerable Oregonians.”
Services available include new patient exams, x-rays, intraoral photos, and an array of preventive services, including dental cleanings for patients of all ages as well as sealants, fluoride, periodontal maintenance, scaling, and root planing, fillings, and extractions.
Community partnerships are key to this program. Partners allow space to park the mobile clinic and help increase the local communities’ awareness of services. The Tiny House Dental Office supplements the important services our partners are already providing to their communities. Community partners include Presbyterian Church of the Siuslaw, Mapleton Food Share, City of Cottage Grove (Community Center), and Orchid Health McKenzie Clinic. Service partners include Siuslaw Outreach Services, Siuslaw Vision, South Lane Mental Health, Cottage Grove Community Sharing, and Junction City Local Aid.

Practice Manager Cindy Fisher says, “The thing I enjoy most about my profession is having the opportunity to better the physical, emotional and mental health of community members through our oral health services. We all deserve a pain free and healthy smile!”
She is a Certified Behavioral/Oral Community Health Worker (BOCHW) and is a graduate of Linn-Benton Community College. She is a member of the American Dental Association.
Outside of the office Cindy enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and fishing. She is a college football fan and loves walks with her dog, “Trigger”

Hygienist Jo Ann Eldredge says, “Helping each patient to achieve and maintain excellent dental health gives me the most satisfaction from my profession. I want their smile to be the healthiest it can be.”

Jo Ann is a Certified Dental Hygienist (RDH) and a Certified Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist (EPDH). She earned her A.S. in Dental Hygiene from Lane Community College.
Away from the office she keeps busy by riding motorcycles, amateur bodybuilding and spending time with her active grandchildren.

ABOUT ME
Dr. Kotzin says, “The best thing about being a dentist is helping people to have a beautiful, healthy smile. Dentistry combines art, science and the ability to improve the health of our community. Dr. Kotzin aims to create a welcoming and comforting environment by treating each of her patients like family.
After graduating from the University of Oregon, Dr. Kotzin received her Dental Degree from the OHSU School of Dentistry. To keep up with evolving technology, she’s a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association and the Central Oregon Dental Society.
Dr. Kotzin says, “I grew up in a small fishing town in rural Alaska and love all that central Oregon has to offer. In my free time I enjoy skiing, yoga, rock climbing, my pets, travel and cooking.”
