Right to an Interpreter

  • For those Members with Limited English Proficiency, it does this by letting members know that interpreter services available at no charge.
  • Whenever possible, certified and qualified interpreters are used in the rendering of these services
  • Other means may be used as well depending on the Members preference.


Requesting an Interpreter

  • Call us at 800-525-6800 or (TTY 711).
  • When a member or provider calls requesting interpreter services, CDC schedules an interpreter through a professional interpreter service.
  • Interpreter services are either in the form of:
    • An interpreter attending an appointment with a member
    • An interpreter available by phone or video
    • Written translator services.
