Right to an Interpreter
- For those Members with Limited English Proficiency, it does this by letting members know that interpreter services available at no charge.
- Whenever possible, certified and qualified interpreters are used in the rendering of these services
- Other means may be used as well depending on the Members preference.
Requesting an Interpreter
- Call us at 800-525-6800 or (TTY 711).
- When a member or provider calls requesting interpreter services, CDC schedules an interpreter through a professional interpreter service.
- Interpreter services are either in the form of:
- An interpreter attending an appointment with a member
- An interpreter available by phone or video
- Written translator services.
