She is proud of her work, knowing that it provides healthy, functional smiles for her patients, and its satisfying for her to witness the improvement of her patients’ self-esteem as their courses of treatment progress.
She received her D.D.S. from the The University of Otago School of Dentistry in New Zealand. She continued her studies receiving her Endodontic certificate from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.

Dr. Salamati says, “The most enjoyable part of my profession is being able to make a positive impact on a child’s experience and educating them and their parents on maintaining healthy oral health.”
After graduating from the University of Washington, Dr. Salamati received her Dental Degree and her PhD. in Oral Biology from the University of Washington University School of Dentistry. She completed her Pediatric Residency at the NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi Medical Center.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She was a University of Washington Magnuson Scholar. She also speaks Farsi.
Dr. Salamati says, “I enjoy spending time with my family and hiking, swimming, and playing soccer. I love traveling the world with my hubby and experiencing new food and cultures. We also go to Disneyland and watch all the Disney movies. I love all the princesses but if I had to pick one, my top choice is Princess Cinderella. I like all the colors but my favorite color is purple.”

“As a kid, I was actually quite timid and fearful about going to the dentist! The smell was just as sterile and cold as the environment looked. My orthodontist in high school is the one who changed my perspective about dentistry altogether. His personality was everything you’d expect from a grandpa — warm, welcoming, with an endless supply of jokes. While I was his patient, he hired me to become his orthodontic assistant. There I learned all of the basics of dentistry, and the dental office became a place of learning and excitement for me.”

Freindly Dr. Ahdout is a dentist on a mission. Because of the effect dentistry has on peoples overall health, Dr. Ahdout feels his greatest task as a Periodontist is to help restore teeth to optimal health and thereby promote a pain-free and infection-free life. It’s an added satisfaction for him to witness the improvement of his patients’ self-esteem as their course of treatments progress and their smile and well being improves.
After graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Dr. Ahdout received his Dental Degree from the famous University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He has more than two decades of clinical experience and keeps abreast of cutting edge technology. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. He speaks Persian also!
