Medi-Cal offers free or low-cost dental care for eligible California residents. A third of adults and half of all children in California are enrolled in the program, which provides up to $1800 in covered services per individual each year. As a Medi-Cal member, your coverage and your child’s coverage automatically come with dental benefits at little or no cost to you.
Medi-Cal Dental Plan coverage includes a comprehensive assortment of services, including regular cleanings, checkups and major restorative work. You only need to provide your Medi-Cal Benefits Identification Card (BIC) to your Medi-Cal Dental Plan provider to receive a full spectrum of diagnostic, preventative and restorative dental services.

Dr. Luu says, “I enjoy providing services that improve patients’ appearance and self-confidence through orthodontic dental procedures. These services make patients feel better about their smiles.”
He received both his Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences and his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at the University of California at Irvine. After finishing his undergraduate education, Dr. Luu continued his studies at New York University where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He then advanced on at New York University to specialize in Orthodontics. He completed his post-graduate specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at NYU.
Dr. Luu is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. He is also a member of the Southern Alameda County Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontist.
When he is not straightening teeth and creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Luu enjoys outdoor running, and spending time with friends and family. He and wife Nicole have two young children, Brayden and Caitlyn.

ABOUT ME
Dr. Deyhim studied Systems Physiology after transferring from community college to San Jose State University where she was awarded the Dean’s Scholar. She completed her dental school training at NYU College of Dentistry where she was honored the Omega Kappa Upsilon status three years in a row, was a member of NYU research honors program and received two scholarships during her training. In addition, she was given the dental student implant award upon graduation from NYU. She later completed her Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency at UCSF-Fresno where she was trained in the full scope of the specialty including oral and facial pathology and reconstruction of adult and pediatric patients.
Dr. Deyhim has also presented management of difficult airway in the office and hospital setting at the prestigious California American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Annual Meeting.
Dr. Deyhim says, “I would like every patient to feel comfortable and thoroughly informed of their specific treatment.” She also prides herself for providing a professional environment for the staff to flourish and for the patients to receive the best individualized care.
Away from the office she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and relaxing by the coast.
