The Gentle Dental Smile Plan is perfect if you don’t have dental insurance and offers significant savings. The plan has no waiting period, involves no paperwork, and covers all pre-existing conditions.
You can enroll as an individual, couple or family and receive significant discounts on preventative services including exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and x-rays, as well as a host of other dental services. All other services including specialty care such as extractions, root canals, and orthodontics are discounted 20% from our list prices.

Dr. Pootrakul is committed to the highest quality dental care. As an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon he appreciates his role in providing pain relief to his patients through often complex surgical procedures. He applies a caring, detail-oriented approach to each patient’s case, taking time to solve their dental issues effectively, and thoughtfully provides treatment options that are specifically designed around each patient’s needs.
Patients that have had traumatic dental visits in the past at other offices, are pleasantly surprised with his kind manner and gentle approach to Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Whether you are having a simple extraction or all four wisdom teeth removed under sedation you will feel more like you are at a spa then a dental office. His scope of practice ranges from extractions to full facial reconstruction. His education and surgery training allow him to handle the most complex medical and dental cases without the need to go to a hospital.

Dr. Aravind Buddula’s father, a pediatric surgeon, served as his initial inspiration and played a key role in shaping his career. He loves treating his patients and giving them the gentle care they need for great oral health. Delivering periodontal services at multiple Gentle Dental offices throughout the Seattle region, he brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to each patient’s care.
His love for his profession is reflected in his achievements. While studying Dentistry at a top dental school in his home country of India, Dr. Buddula received an award from the International College of Dentists for achieving the highest marks in Prosthodontics. He furthered his education with a Masters of Dental Surgery in Periodontics from the College of Dental Surgery in Manipal, India. He went on to pursue a Certificate in Public Health at the Oklahoma University of Health Sciences in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He then attained his D.M.D degree at Tufts School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Buddula made the Dean’s Honor Roll for his exemplary performance on the National Dental Board examination, and was selected by the world-renowned Mayo Clinic to complete his Fellowship in Periodontology and Masters in Biomedical Sciences. His work there earned him the Dental Student Award for outstanding achievements from the American Academy of Periodontology. Especially interested in implant surgery, he has multiple articles on this topic in international, peer-reviewed journals, and his papers have been accepted for presentations at various national and international conferences. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and American Dental Association.
Recognizing that patient care and understanding are the essence of any health profession, Dr.Buddula has genuine love and concern for his patients. This fact was acknowledged when he was placed among the best periodontists in patient care at the Mayo Clinic, based exclusively upon the positive patient feedback he received.
In his spare time, Dr.Buddula enjoys watching movies and playing cricket. He is fluent in English, Telugu and Hindi.

About Me
Dr. Zainvi graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry as one of her classes’ strongest graduating dentists. Dr. Zainvi has previously earned a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Clinical Research from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. As a testament to her dedication to dentistry, Dr. Zainvi has received numerous scholarships, honors and awards. Additionally, while at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, Dr. Zainvi served as a teaching assistant, clinical tutor and research analyst in dental research projects which led to publications in international, peer-reviewed journals. She has also presented her dental research papers and posters at international and national conferences.
Dr. Zainvi is thrilled to be a part of the Gentle Dental team providing exceptional care to the people of the Pacific Northwest. Her patient care philosophy is one that places the patient at the center of every treatment plan. She believes in creating a wonderful dental experience for her patients and strives to serve her patients with compassion, excellence, and value.

Dr. David Kang believes patient education is a critical component in successful treatments. He always spends time with his patients going over details of diagnosis and prognosis based on clinical evaluations and research studies recommending evidence-based treatments. All of his patients and referring doctors complement and appreciate him for his great chair-side manner!
After graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Dr. Kang received his M.S. in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University. He completed his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and his Masters degree in Endodontics from the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Kang grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and worked as a computer engineer at IBM before he joined the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland for his master’s degree in Biotechnology.
