Dr. Tsen says, “Every patient deserves thoughtful and compassionate care. I love helping people improve their smile and I will always do what is in the best interest of my patient.”
After graduating from Cornell University with a B.S. in Biochemistry, Dr. Tsen received his Dental Degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He completed his Residency at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital. To keep abreast of cutting edge technology, he’s a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Away from the office, Dr. Tsen likes hiking, travel and is always on a quest for great new restaurants.

ABOUT ME
Dr. Moawad loves helping his patients realize new smiles as he gets to know them and their families. The lasting relationships he has created with each patient are one of the many reasons why dentistry is his passion.
He earned his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He obtained his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia and his Certificate and Master of Science in Orthodontics at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Moawad has been in practice for almost 20 years, during which time he has also served as an Assistant Professor in Orthodontics at the Oregon Health Sciences University and the University of California at San Francisco. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Moawad says, “In my free time enjoy playing tennis and basketball, skiing, hiking, boating and fishing.”

About Me
Dr. Trent Ellis is a dedicated oral and maxillofacial surgeon serving patients at GD Ballard and GD Woodinville, bringing expertise and compassion to his practice. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Ellis is committed to providing exceptional care and building meaningful relationships with his patients.
Dr. Ellis graduated with a degree in Accounting from the University of Utah in 2014 before pursuing his passion for healthcare by earning his dental degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2018. He furthered his education in oral and maxillofacial surgery at San Antonio Military, graduating in 2023.
A member of professional associations including AAOMS and ADA, Dr. Ellis stays updated with the latest advancements in oral surgery, ensuring the highest standards of care for his patients.
Driven by his desire to impact patients’ health positively, Dr. Ellis finds fulfillment in the complexity and scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, both in managing medical conditions and utilizing surgical skills to improve patients’ lives.

Dr. Yen-Tung Chen is an endodontist with a specialization in endodontics, practicing at multiple Gentle Dental offices including GD Mt. Vernon, GD Marysville, GD Everett, GD North Pointe, GD Lynwood, GD Bothell, GD Woodinville, and GD West Seattle. Fluent in Mandarin, he earned his D.D.S. and MSD degrees from Taipei Medical University in 2013 before pursuing further studies in endodontics at Boston University, graduating in 2020.
Inspired by a family friend, Dr. Chen was drawn to dentistry, where he now finds immense satisfaction in relieving patients’ pain through his expertise in endodontics. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys engaging in various outdoor activities. Dr. Yen-Tung Chen is dedicated to providing top-quality endodontic care, aiming to alleviate patients’ discomfort and contribute positively to their oral health and overall well-being.
