About Me
Meet Dr. Dave Len Smith, a dedicated Orthodontist practicing at GD Reno NW and GD Reno South. A graduate of BYU with a major in Zoology in 1985, he furthered his education at UCLA, earning his D.D.D. in 1989. Dr. Smith’s specialization in Orthodontics was pursued at Baylor, where he graduated in 1991.
With a passion for making smiles straight, Dr. Smith finds joy in his profession, particularly working closely with patients to achieve optimal orthodontic outcomes. Beyond his expertise in the field, he enjoys card collecting and sports.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Smith is a proud father of six boys. Patients can expect not only exceptional orthodontic care from Dr. Smith but also a compassionate and family-oriented approach to their treatment.

About Me
Dr. Jeffrey Askins, D.D.S., M.S., is an accomplished orthodontist deeply committed to delivering exceptional patient care. He practices in three convenient locations: GD Sparks, GD Reno South, and GD Reno Northwest, specializing in Orthodontics.
Dr. Askins commenced his dental journey at the University of Nevada, Reno, earning his Bachelor of Science in 1994. Following this, he obtained his D.D.S. from Creighton University in 2003. Furthering his education at Temple University, he earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Orthodontics in 2005.
A distinguished member of the dental community, Dr. Askins is affiliated with the American Association of Orthodontics and holds the esteemed title of Diplomate with the American Board of Orthodontics.
Drawn to dentistry by the mental and technical challenges of orthodontics, Dr. Askins’ fascination began as a teenage patient. Today, he embraces the dynamic nature of his field, continuously striving to be the best and recognizing the uniqueness of each patient.
Dr. Askins takes joy in the journey of treatment, relishing the opportunity to witness the transformation of his patients’ smiles and the newfound confidence that follows. His patient-centric approach is rooted in a genuine connection with those he serves.

ABOUT ME
Dr. Kevin Lin believes that a healthy smile can change your life. He is passionate about dentistry and improving the oral health of each patient. He feels many health care professionals lack effective communication on educating patients about their health, and he will take his time to make sure patients understand the treatment they need to achieve a healthy mouth.
After graduating from Cornell University, Dr. Lin received his Dental Degree from the Roseman University of Health Sciences. To keep abreast of cutting edge technology, he’s a member of the American Dental Association and the Nevada Dental Association.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Lin is a die-hard Browns fan who moved to Reno to spend time with his family, traveling, hiking, and to enjoy all the beautiful activities Northern Nevada has to offer.
